An exhibition on the archaeology of food was organised in collaboration with the Promise Foundation on the occassion of the IAEVG-JIVA international conference, October 7-10th, 2010.

With posters, replicas and interactive workshops, presentations and talks, this exhibition traced the history of food from the earliest prehistoric times right till today. Delegates from all over the world, attended the exhibition and participated actively in the workshops and interactive programs.

We thank the Promise Foundation for giving us this opportunity. We are also grateful to the Deccan College Post-graduate and Research Institute Pune, Dr. P.P. Dandawate and Mr. B.Gajul for their help in preparing the replicas. The Ellen Sharma Memorial Matriculation School provided a sample of medicinal plants from their herbal garden, for which we are very grateful. Mr. N.Sudhakar helped us greatly in logistics and purchase of items required for the exhibition.
