What do the Workshops Involve? 

In-house workshops are for duration of 3 hours each; with a short break for refreshments.  

Workshops are individually designed to suit your needs. They work best with groups of 20-40 children.

Each workshop is handled by experts in the subject and consists of:

  • A short introductory talk.
  • Outdoor and indoor hands-on activities 
  • Observations of artefacts.
  • Discussion

LET’S EXPLORE STONE AGE INDIA

This workshop takes you back in time to a million years ago, when the first prehistoric populations lived in India. Learn all about human evolution, lifeways of our earliest ancestors, how to make and use stone tools and much more!

PREHISTORIC ARTISTS

How did prehistoric people paint? What colours did they use? Why did they paint? What can this tell us about their lives? What tools did they use for their art?

 FIRST FARMERS

How did the earliest farmers in India cultivate crops and domesticate animals. Here, you will learn all about the earliest farming communities of the

METAL MAGIC

This workshop explores the world of ancient metallurgy in India. Learn the ancient lost-wax technique to make bronze sculptures. Discover the wonderful antiquities made of metal through the ages, as far back in time the Harappan Civilization.

Other workshops deal with themes related to Human Evolution, Early Pottery, The Harappan Civilization, Ancient Scripts and much more.
